Dr Shashi Tharoor : A True Leader of the New and Young India

Few days back when I went to a get-to-gather organized by my collage mates, we discussed about the current state of Politics & Leaders in our country. I felt happy & proud that all of them were aware about the current state of our politics (which is a bit rare in Commerce & CA students as they are always busy with Assets & Liabilities).

But, I was shocked to learn that majority of them were unaware about the candid personality of Dr. Shashi Tharoor. They were only aware of the various controversies associated with him.
I cleared them about Dr. Tharoor - through my personal experience & asked them to take the help of Google. At last most of them not only applauded his personality, but they are eagerly looking forward to meet him in person.

I narrated this experience to my Father; he gave me idea that like my friends there could be few more that might be unaware & unclear about the image of Dr. Tharoor.
So on the occasion of his Birthday, I am posting this blog so that whosoever wants to clear himself/herself about Dr. Tharoor can get some piece of information and applaud this great personality.

In this speech Dr. Tharoor himself called for a full inquiry about the allegations against him and till the date there have been no adverse findings against him.

Dr. Shashi Tharoor was initially criticized by his opponents as an “elite outsider” while contesting the Elections in 2009. Subsequently he was appointed as the Minister of State for the External Affairs in the Council of Ministers of Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.

Dr. Shashi Tharoor is the First Indian Celebrity to get 1,00,000 followers on Twitter. It is true that many people in India may know Twitter just because of Dr. Tharoor.

In light of so many opportunities available to him, after rendering his services at the United Nations - Dr. Tharoor might have settled in any foreign country and would have carried on any profit-making and less challenging activity. But, instead, Dr. Tharoor took the road less travelled – he decided to choose the path of serving his people and his motherland

In addition to all these qualities Dr. Shashi Tharoor is equally friendly, kind, generous, helpful, dynamic and large hearted. He always tries his level best to stay connected to the common man and especially to the youth.
As my own personal experience goes, inspite of being such a great and busy personality – he always reply back to my Emails, Tweets, SMSs, Letters and various other requests. (Despite of I being an ordinary fan and follower).

This is a wonderful brief of Mr. Shashi Tharoor. Amazing facts about him and yet so humble. I joined Twitter after I heard about Mr. Shashi Tharoor's tweets. Sad our democracy has no room for one who is willing to work with the commoners. I hope to see Mr. Tharoor rising in Indian Politics and change the image it now has. All the best Sir. dpdaniel62 (twitter id)

I really feel that we need intellectuals like him and more of young blood in our politics... Old fogies are messing it up big time.. and that in turn is affecting our country negatively :/
